Current MLS Listings for Riverside Drive
Richmond, VA (Zone 60)
One of Richmond’s most fun and notable residential collections is Riverside Drive. As the name would imply, Riverside winds haphazardly along the James River on its southern banks. Riverside is split by the Powhite Parkway but begins at the Robert E Lee Bridge in western Manchester and terminates just west of the Huguenot Bridge near the City/Chesterfield border.
Riverside's most outstanding stretches are located closer to Downtown and east of the Boulevard Bridge/Nickel Bridge where commanding views of the River and the City's skyline can be found. In addition, some of the best access points to the James River Park System are located along Riverside so the nearby homes not only enjoy the excellent views, but access to the water, trails and nature as well.
In recent years, homes along Riverside have become increasingly popular with the 'architecturally inclined' as the basis for high dollar renovations and additions. Several stunning modern structures have been crafted from the bones of traditional homes and are truly noteworthy.
